Annual Exhibition

2009 Exhibition is a great success!

After several years away from Worthing, our show returned to the town for 2009 and was a hit with the crowds boasting a flash new venue, superb traders and a great selection of layouts to see. Here’s some of the highlights of the weekend…

One of the main events of the weekend was the handover of a layout built by Worthing MRC for the local children’s hospice Chesnut Tree House, here you can see club members Dave Kent and Peter Denton presenting the layout to the Hospice with the Worthing Mayor looking on.

Amongst some of the superb layouts booked for the show, there are the likes of Paul Wade’s ‘Tonbridge West Yard’ making one of its final exhibition appearances, George Woodcock’s ‘Llwyd Town’ and the club’s ‘Nine Mills’ (as featured in the latest Railway Modeller) along with a number of other great model railway layouts and a carefully-picked selection of the finest traders offering a wide variety of modelling goodies!
